On Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th January two year 3 groups visited the Tower of London where they were able to see first-hand the ceremonial Crown Jewels, which previous Kings and Queens used at their coronations. They also explored the Royal Armoury located in the White Tower with all the different armour sets and took part in some informative workshops on King Henry VIII and his six wives. Another main attraction of the Tower was the famous Ravens who are each individually named with a colour coded band so they can be easily identified. Raven Hugine from North Somerset can be seen posing for a photo below! Her older sister Raven Erin was elsewhere.
