This half term, all nursery children had the fantastic opportunity of going on an educational visit to Star Park. The children had the most wonderful time exploring our local park and observing the changes which occur in nature during Autumn.
With bundles of excitement and energy, we set off for the park. Very quickly, the children spotted different coloured leaves and we even began observing natural objects such as pine cones too. This presented a perfect opportunity for the children to use high quality language such as spiky and rough to describe such objects.
After a well earned play in the park, we returned to school with lots of natural objects we’d collected. These will inspire the children to create some Autumn themed artwork.
