Here are some useful links for online learning and resources

  • Google Classroom – Access all your child’s online lessons and assignments.
  • Bug Club – A whole-school reading programme that helps transform children into lifelong readers. Now with added Grammar and Spelling, and Plays by Julia Donaldson, the Bug Club family has everything you need to help children catch the reading bug.
  • Times Tables Rock Stars – A carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice. Each week concentrates on a different times table, with a recommended consolidation week for rehearsing the tables that have recently been practised every third week or so.
  • Mathletics – A captivating online maths learning space providing students with all the tools they need to be successful learners, both in the classroom and beyond, through interactive activities, games and challenges.
  • Read, Write, Inc. – Free phonics lessons are on Facebook and Youtube. Please refer to the below timetable for dates and times.
  • BBC Bitesize – Use BBC Bitesize to help with your homework, revision and learning. Find free videos, step-by-step guides, activities and quizzes by level and subject.
  • Joe Wicks The Body Coach – Keep fit and healthy with The Body Coach, Joe Wicks. Check out Joe’s YouTube channel where you can find lots of workout videos as well as specially designed lessons for younger children.
  • Twinkl – An online educational publishing house, producing teaching and educational materials. Twinkl have many free online materials for home learning including their new Home Learning Packs.
  • Now>Press>Play – An educational resource that uses sound, story and movement to engage all children, however they learn.
  • Discovery Education – A trusted partner for schools, supporting them in realising their vision and achieving their goals with curriculum-matched content, professional development solutions and professional networking opportunities.
  • Family Zone – An independent charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged children the literacy skills they need to succeed.
  • Parent Info – A newsfeed service offering free support and advice from leading experts on digital family life. Expert advice to help families through isolation and quarantine will be delivered regularly through Parent Info in the coming weeks and months.
