Article 31 states that children have the right take part in a wide range of activities and at Star we want Children to have new experiences in the ‘Great outdoors’.
Year 3 went on a Field trip to Epping Forest. Many pupils not only enjoyed the outdoors by day, but also by night. Pupils listened to whistle of the wind and the patter of rain on their tents.
Pupils spent the day immersed in nature, enjoying challenging outdoor pursuits and developing their team work skills. The experience of a roaring camp fire, den building and a range of activities has impacted on their communication and writing skills this half term.
