On Wednesday 12th June our year 2, year 5 and year 6 children proudly took part in our own Go Run For Fun, Star Primary being one of only 20 schools nationally to be chosen to host such an event. It was a sea of pink t-shirts and smiles as our children enjoyed running the perimeter of our school grounds and Eastlea’s field, some competing to win, others achieving personal challenges to run the whole distance and others just enjoying the fun of the day but all promoting the benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
