It was an absolute pleasure taking our wonderful Reception children to Buckingham Palace this week. The children have been hard at work learning about the life of Queen Elizabeth II this half term and have learnt about some of the most important events in her reign as well as the significance of the upcoming Platinum Jubilee.
The children loved watching the Changing of the Guard and were blown away by the marching and drumming! It was incredibly exciting to not only have a picnic in St James’ Park afterwards but we also traveled on the London Underground too!
