On Wednesday 21st April, Reception celebrated Queen Elizabeth ll’s birthday by holding a ‘Royalty Day’. Over the Easter holidays pupils designed and created their costumes for Royalty Day. At school, Reception enjoyed role playing with and talking about their fantastic swords and crowns! Throughout the day pupils took part in some exciting workshops. they explored how to design and create a sword, understand the different parts of a castle and how to build one, using our bodies in different ways to fight like a knight and of course, making a feast fit for a king!
