To mark the beginning of British Science Week we had some very exciting visitors at Star care of Safari Pete. Safari Pete is a conservationist and works with lots of exotic animals. We had a variety of amphibians, birds, invertebrates, mammals, and reptiles who had a range of unique personalities and back stories (including being rescued from a toilet!) Safari Pete shared lots of facts about the animals as well as inviting children to bravely handle the animals. Some of the children’s favourite included Drake the Snake, and Tigi the giant lizard. A wonderful, informative and exciting experience was had by all!
