On Tuesday 27th February our Star Boccia Team represented the whole of Newham in the prestigious London Youth Games. The event was held in the Lea Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in the Olympic Park. There are 32 London Boroughs who take part in the London Youth Games every year in many different sports. Although we didn’t get a podium position on this occasion, it was an absolute honour and privilege to represent Newham. Our children played some fantastic games, demonstrating skill, team spirit and sportsmanship and we are incredibly proud of them!
