As part of our History, English and Design and Technology this term, we travelled to the first Roman town of Colchester, known in Roman times as Camulodunum. We went back in time to 2,000 years ago and explored the history of the Roman Vaults, the foundations of the Temple of Claudius. We experienced many artefacts from Roman times and even recreated a Roman villa and Celtic roundhouse. We had a wonderful day full of rich learning experiences which will help us with our learning this term.
